[MuseumsWA]

Its been over a week since the conference finished and we are now busy doing all the post-conference stuff including sending out an evaluation survey, and making the papers and presentations available on-line.

In the meantime please take the time to visit the confernence Twitter archives which are available at:

There have also been a number of great posts and blogs about the conference.  here are just a few:

Regan Forrest is based in Adelaide, and is a member of both MA & IA and chaired the morning plenary on Thursday (which was notable by her fine emulation of Q&A by taking questions from Twitter!)

Regan has compiled four very comprehensive blogs and commentaries and provides some very thought provoking final notes.  There are four blogs in all so read from the bottom up: http://reganforrest.com/category/conferences/

Bernard Caleo, Melbourne Museum, (and cartoonist extraoirdinaire!!!) has posted five blogs about the conference including a great rundown of the New Norcia field trip, and also provides a visitors view of Perth which is quite an eye-opener for us locals.  His blog starts at "Way out West" http://anislandart.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Thornpebble AKA Stephanie Rosestone, a Museum Educator at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat. Stephanie has posted four daily blogs on the conference and provides very useful links to websites etc referred to by speakers: http://stephanierosestone.wordpress.com/

Kier Winesmith, Manager, Digital Media at the Museum of Contemporary Art: http://keirdotnet.net/content/at-the-frontier/

Geoff's Museum Posts: http://geoffsleftfoot.blogspot.com/

Sarah-Jane Rennie from Museums and Galleries NSW, who both presented and chaired sessions at the conference has posted a great blog about the CRS Day: http://mgnsw.blogspot.com/2011/11/regional-interactions-at-museums....

Andrew Bowman from Carnamah has kindly posted his paper from Wednesday onto his blog: http://andrew-s-bowman.blogspot.com/2011/11/virtual-existence-socia...

If anyone sees any more or if there are other bloggers oput there please let us know by emailing anne.chapple@museum.wa.gov.au

Happy reading!
