If you only ever attend one exhibition each year, make sure that the choice for 2012 is the WA Museum's Debt of Honour Exhibition currently showing at the WA Museum until early June.
The story told in this exhibition is fascinating and resonates on so many levels that just one visit probably is not enough.
Museums Australia (WA) hosted a curator's talk based on this exhibition on Thursday night and curators, Paul Bridges and Stephen Anstey gave all who attended a valuable insight into this story along with the background knowledge that a curator accumulates as they research their exhibition. The passion and commitment that both of these guys have and had for the story was palpable.
Thank you Paul and Stephen for your generosity in sharing the story, to Susan Hall, our metro co-ordinator, for initiating the event and getting the ball rolling and to Suzanne Jess for hosting the function.
