WA Team wins Museum Olympics

You will be pleased to know that the WA team won the inaugural Musuem Olympics held at the National Conference in Newcastle.



The team had to undertake six museum related tasks, four before hand and two at the conference dinner. Day 1 of the National Conference

Hi everyone in Perth,



Yesterday was the Regional and Remote Day plus a variety of workshops on a range of topics.

The highlight of the plenary session for me were a couple of stories regarding indigenous exhibitions and cultural places.

Jane's National Conference Blog

OK all technical problems have now been solved and it looks like a green light to report back to you daily (I hope) from Newcastle.

Check out the conference program, as I'm undecided which parallel sessions to attend. If there is an overwhelming desire from some of you out there for me to attend specific sessions, then - I'll see....maybe I'll try... no promises.
