Roger May Machinery Museum

As of beginning of September, the Roger May Machinery Museum has a Facebook page.   We invite anyone who has an interest in old agricultural machinery or just old things, to check us out.   It's early days though, but hopefully it will continue to grow as more people get to know about it.    Elaine BerrySee More

Pinjarra Festival 2012, Pinjarra, WA

New Addition to the Roger May Machinery Museum

The Roger May Machinery Museum acquired a mangle for their domestic section of the museum sometime ago.   Cleaning up and conservation of the object is now completed.  Photographs show the mangle when received and after cleaning up.  It came from a family who lived in Coolup and it was in the family from new.    The…See More

The Roger May Machinery Museum will have on display their recently restored Sunshine Seeder, plus will also be running various engines including some model steam engines.   Free entry to the festival with live entertainment, market and food stalls, wine tasting and The Great Gardens Team will be showing ways to cook food from the garden.  Join us over the weekend.See More

Barney the horse, who has proved to be a great addition our displays.  Horse equipage which previously had been hanging in the rafters now is displayed properly. Edenvale Building Reconstruction

It's sometime since I reported on the progress of the reconstruction of the fire-damaged wing of the Edenvale Homestead.   Fortunately by the time the rains arrived, the roof was on and work was able to continue through the worst of the rain.  The drains did proof a bit of a problem, but all work is almost completed.  It is hoped that the building will be officially handed over to the Shire of Murray sometime within the next couple of weeks.   Everyone is very impressed and pleased with the…See More
