Anzac Cottage 95 Anniversary at Anzac Cottage

Anzac Cottage is a small cottage in Mount Hawthorn, built in one day in February 1916 as a memorial to the gallant soldiers who fought at Gallipoli and as a home for a returned soldier and his family. The cottage will be celebrating its 95th birthday with an Open House featuring displays and exhibits from various conflicts as well as telling the story of the cottage. Entry is free, with a delicious afternoon tea for a gold coin donation.See More

Claremont Museum

Mona and staff from the Claremont Museum wish to express their appreciation and gratitude to all who have sent messages of concern regarding the recent fire at the Town of Claremont.Whilst the Museum has escaped any fire damage, Mona would like everyone to know that all of their systems are down and they are unable to receive or send phone calls, email messages or use any of their electrical equipment.
