Museum Week 2012

This year’s International Museum Day, held on May 18, 2012 has the theme of;

Museums in a Changing World: New challenges, New inspirations

Whilst this is a great theme, we have decided that we will focus instead on the Year of the Farmer and have made our theme;

The Farming Factor

Museums Australia (WA) plans to celebrate this day within our traditional “Museum Week” promotion and encourages all museums, keeping places and galleries to join with us.   

Museum Week will begin on Sunday 13 May and will continue through to Sunday 20 May.
