[MuseumsWA]

Have just come across a great website showcasing Digital Stories inspired by museums and galleries.
Checkoute Culture Shock: http://www.cultureshock.org.uk/inspiration.html

We would love to know about any similar projects being done in Western Australia.

Has anyone created digital stories to add to their exhibitions and displays?
Has anyone posted a digital story on a social networking site like YouTube or facebook?

I have been trained by ACMI in Melbourne to deliver digital storytelling workshops and am just about to start contacting Museums to offer the workshop for them.

I'd love to hear from any museums wanting help in developing a digital storytelling project for their community.

Please contact me on jenrgriffiths@gmail.com or 0409074308.

Thanks

Hello Jane,

It may not be 'being done in Western Australia' but the following may be of interest:

Thanks Wal,

Good example ... wish it were Mosman in WA!!!

Hi Jane,

I came across your blog while I was googling our project as part of our evaluation of the project.  I have been the Project Coordinator for Culture Shock for nearly 3 years now and it's great to see it referred to as an example of good practice.  If you'd like more information about our project then you can get in touch.  You could always ask Alec Coles - as this project has been led by Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums where he was previously director!

Alex
