Scrapbooking is a longstanding tradition of presenting personal history & memories alongside photographs, journalling and small mementoes. As a modern hobby scrapbooking is enormously popular and attracts people from all walks of life.
Come along to this informative, hands-on workshop about the historic scrapbooks in the Wanneroo Museum and Community History collections. Learn about the factors of decay and how this may apply to your personal collections and how to avoid it. People will be taught safe methods of incorporating their photographs, documents and mementoes into scrapbooks to ensure their longevity. A must-do workshop for the dedicated heritage scrapbooker!
There are two separate dates: Thursday 19 May from 10.00am to 12.00pm and Sunday 22 May from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
