Western Australian jeweller Helena Bogucki will facilitate
a half day workshop which will explore the vintage
domestic doily and methods of communicating the
precious nature of this object as contemporary jewellery.Helena uses her skills as professional jeweller and artist to create gold and silver jewellery referencing the wealth of found objects and histories stored in Western Australia’s vast collections treasure trove. Antique and vintage items are used to reference the historical context of the jewellery piece and provide a unique opportunity to connect historical documentation with the contemporary jewellery movement.
