Event Description

A full day of care of collections and preventative conservation delivered by Conservator Greg Manzie from Glyde Street Conservation. The morning session will cover issues in caring for photographs. You will learn how to write a general condition report, identify what can go wrong and what to do about it, plus a case study on the Town of Cottesloe photographic collection.
Some of the content covered in the morning will apply to the afternoon session on artwork. Learn how to better care for your artwork and observe the conservator at work on a damage painting of Robert Cleworth and of a Norman Lindsay plaster sculpture.
