Event Description

Join Dr. Ian Godfrey as he describes the work that has been undertaken to protect and stabilize the buildings and to conserve the artefacts left behind by Mawson and his team at the windiest place in the world at sea level.

His illustrated presentation will cover elements of the history, conservation program and working and living in the isolated but wonderfully pristine Antarctic environment.
