DESCRIPTION:INVITATION\nA major event for 2010 - the Avondale Harvest 
 Festival, to be held at Avondale Discovery Farm, Beverley on Sunday 21
  November 10am – 4pm.\nThe Avondale Harvest Festival attracts a crow
 d of up to 2000 from the country and city, and this year we aim to bui
 ld on the success of the 2009 Festival.\nThe Harvest Festival is an op
 portunity for visitors to see demonstrations of harvesting methods usi
 ng Clydesdale horses and vintage tractors and machinery. Working sheep
 dogs a blacksmith and farrier, stationary engines in action and sheari
 ng demonstrations all provide a glimpse of how things were done in day
 s gone by. The Swiss Festival band Guggeburras, which delighted everyo
 ne last year, will be back, as will displays of vintage cars and carav
 ans, and local quilts.\nAnother feature of this year's event is the \"
 ironman\" collection. A group of eastern wheatbelt farmers who, during
  hard times, have turned their hand to creating beautiful and function
 al pieces from material gathered in their farm rubbish tips. These wil
 l be for sale. There will also be an Avondale (and rural) themed art e
 xhibition and sale. Lots of ideas for Christmas presents.\nWe feel sur
 e you will find it worthwhile to participate at the 2010 Avondale Harv
